Wanda’s 75 years in the making were finally (after two rescheduled dates) celebrated on Saturday 13 August.

Members and invited guests came together to celebrate the 75 year milestone and enjoyed the many stories from the past, reminisced about the good old days and gained an insight into how the Club and the surf lifesaving movement has progressed over the years. Thank you to our MC, Michael Bonnici, and Interview Panel, Nathan Smith as MC, Mick Brannock OAM, Elyssa Pierce, Wendy Sandstrom and Michael Bonnici – who were truly entertaining and inspiring.

It was also a great honour to have our Senior Vice Patrons – The Hon. Scott Morrison MHR, The Hon. Mark Speakman M.L.A and Carmelo Pesce – Mayor pay tribute and acknowledge our club and our members on the day.

Special thank you to our 75 Year Committee; Mick Brannock OAM, Donna Brown, Mal Dickey, Alan Kentwell, Todd Lester and Mark Sargeant (Convenor) and the workforce team for making it happen.
