MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL

Wanda SLSC Membership Fees

  • The 2023/24 season runs from 1st May 2023 and the club and gym membership fees and competition levies are now due. Click here for the current price list.
  • Please note these fees apply to the senior membership. Cadets, Active Patrolling Members, Associates, Award, Long Service, Honorary, Life Member and Distinguished Service members.
  • Late fees will apply from 1 August 2023.
  • Non fee paying members are still required to sign their membership form for insurance purposes.
  • Nippers who are competing at senior carnivals are asked to pay their competition levy at the same time as senior registrations, ie anytime from now.
  • Nipper fees and Nipper Parent fees are now due.

Renewals – for members who have a current 2022/23 membership and would like to renew for the 2023/24 season.
New Members – for members who have never been a member of any Surf Life Saving Club in Australia (if you are a member of another club, or think you may have been, please refer to Transfers or contact the office).
Members Area – gives you access to your Surf Life Saving Account.
Transfers – for members who would like to transfer into Wanda SLSC from another Club or out of Wanda SLSC to another club for the 2023/24 season.
Active Kids Program – Active Kids Vouchers can be used to pay or put towards your fees for the 2023/24 season.
Gym Membership – Gym Membership is available to financial members.

ONLINE RENEWALS

  • To renew online you will need a Members Area Account (this is in addition to your membership application). Please note – Google Chrome is the preferred browser for online registrations.
  • Log on to your Members Area here. You can either log in, retrieve a forgotten username/password or create an account (if you don’t already have one). If you are having trouble logging into the Members Area, please contact the Office on 9523 4343 for assistance or try the SLSA Helpdesk on 1300 724 006.
  • Go to Memberships > Renewals, Payments, Transfers > follow the prompts to renew
  • Your current membership category and fees will display. If you are unsure or wish to change this, we suggest contacting the office first 9523 4343. If your membership category is different, you may change the total price fee in the payment box.
  • Memberships not renewed and paid for by 31 October 2023 will be automatically archived.

RENEWALS IN PERSON

Please contact the office 9:30-5:00pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday so we can arrange payment in person or over the phone or assist you in setting up a Members Area Account.

Signed forms may be left in the mailbox on the carpark side of the building, or in the mailbox marked “Office Administration” outside the office. Click here for 2023/24 Membership Form.

NEW MEMBERS

  • If you wish to join Wanda Surf Life Saving Club, the easiest way is to apply and pay for your membership online here

  • Alternatively, you can contact us for a copy of the registration form or pick one up from the office. Please return your form to the office or email the registrar@wandaslsc.com.au. Please note if you are joining Wanda Nippers please visit the Nippers website for registration details.
  • We recommend you give us a call first to determine your membership category.
  • If you are unsure about which category to choose, fee structure etc, please contact the office on 9523 4343 for assistance.
  • Memberships not paid for or contact not received by 31 October 2023 will be automatically rejected.

Notes for new members:

  • Payment is to be made at the time of registration.

  • For families, Register someone who is 18+ first, then register each member and make the payment before closing the application. If you happen to close before making payment, you can visit pay.slsa.com.au to complete to registration
  • All new memberships are subject to approval by Wanda’s Board of Directors.
  • You will be advised if/when your membership is approved – this can take up to 28 days.
  • It is recommended you set up a Members Area Account to access your membership information and gives you access to a wide range of features:
    • Get access to renewals and payments
    • View your membership history and awards
    • Check your patrol roster and hours
    • Request to swap or accept patrol subs
    • Create family groups, link members to your group
    • Access the e-learning platform

  • New patrol age members (13-35) will need to complete their Bronze Medallion or Surf Rescue Certificate. Click here for details.

TRANSFERS

A transfer is when you are a member of a club(s) and wish to transfer to another.

  • Can be initiated via your members area or contact the club.
  • The winning club and the losing club both need to endorse the transfer as does the relevant winning Branch.
  • The process may take 28+ days as Board of Management approval is required.
  • It’s best to intiate the transfer as early as possible to avoid any inconvenience in accessing training material, entry to carnivals etc.

ACTIVE KIDS PROGRAM

  • We encourage school age members to make use of their Active Kids vouchers when registering.
  • Apply for your voucher(s) here https://www.service.nsw.gov.au/transaction/apply-active-kids-voucher
  • You can use your Active Kids Voucher to pay for your fees or put towards your fees. Just enter your voucher number and childs date of birth as in (ddmm) as the PIN. The system will then deduct the value of the Voucher and work out if there is any remaining money owed which can be paid on a later screen. If the fees are less than the value of the voucher, the remaining balance is forfeited and can’t be used. If you are unsure, please feel free to contact the office and email your voucher for processing.

GYM MEMBERSHIP

Gym Memberships are available to Wanda Active Patrolling Members, Life Members, Long Service Members, Award Members and Associate Members. To RENEW your gym membership, please either make your payment via the Members Area, Payment Gateway or contact the office on 9523 4343.

For NEW Gym Memberships, please complete the Gym Membership Form and return to the office in person or via email to registrar@wandaslsc.com.au. Payment can be made via the Members Area, Payment Gateway or by contacting the office.
