To remain eligible for patrolling, water safety, upskilling opportunities and competition, all award holders must complete their proficiency requirements, including any online learning components, as soon as possible to avoid delays in processing your award.

Processing times increase significantly as we approach the festive period, and both the Wanda Surf Life Saving Club and Sydney Branch offices will be closed over the Christmas and New Year period.

We appreciate your cooperation and encourage everyone to complete their requirements early to ensure there are no interruptions to your patrol or award status.

GENERAL PROFICIENCY INFORMATION/INSTRUCTIONS

Members with awards are required to keep their award proficient to comply with SLSA policies and members with an SRC/Bronze in particular are to do their proficiency before the 31st of December each year.

We have transitioned to an online platform allowing members to enrol in a Proficiency session via the members HUB. The online component of the SRC/Bronze proficiency must be completed before the 31st of December each year.
