This September, Wanda Surf Life Saving Club will celebrate two historic milestones – the opening of our brand-new Clubroom and the Club’s 80th Anniversary.

To mark these incredible achievements, we’ve planned a special weekend of celebrations and invite all current members, past members, families and supporters to join us as we celebrate the people, stories and achievements that have shaped Wanda since 1946.

80th Anniversary Luncheon

Date: Saturday 12 September 2026
Time: 12:30pm – 6:30pm
Location: Founders Room, Wanda Surf Life Saving Club

Join us for a memorable afternoon celebrating 80 years of saving lives, building champions and serving our community.

Ticket Cost $120 pp

Your ticket includes:

• Two-course meal (Entrée & Main)

• Book a table of 10 or purchase individual tickets.
• Seating requests can be made during the booking process if you’d like to sit with friends or another booking. (We will do our very best to accommodate all seating requests)
• Dietary requirements can be advised when purchasing your ticket(s).
• Dress: Smart Casual. Wear your new 80th Polo or any Wanda gear – any era! We’d love to see the Club’s history represented throughout the room.

Be among the first to experience Wanda’s brand-new Clubroom before its official opening. Enjoy a relaxed evening catching up with fellow members, exploring the new facilities and celebrating this exciting milestone together.

Complimentary light snacks will be provided, with drinks available for purchase.

Official Opening of the New Clubroom

Date: Saturday 12 September
Time: 10:30am – 12:00pm
Location: Wanda Clubroom

Join us as we officially open Wanda’s amazing new Clubroom—a significant milestone in the Club’s history and the culmination of our Stage 3 Redevelopment. This event will bring together members and invited guests to celebrate this proud moment for Wanda.
