REMEMBRANCE DAY 2018

A minutes silence was observed on Wanda Beach for the 100th anniversay of the end of WW1 on Sunday 11 November at 11am. Wanda beach goers, members and Nippers honoured those who served our country and paid special tribute to the group of returned servicemen who established our iconic Wanda Surf Life Saving Club. Thanks U/6 Nippers for assisting Solly in raising our Australian flag. See Murray Trembath’s story in The Leader here.
