BRONZE MEDALLION COURSE #3

BM course #3

Course Dates: 18/1/2026 – 15/3/2026

• Sunday Mornings 7.30am – 9.00am
• Thursday Evenings 6.00pm to 7.30pm

Assessment: Timed swim, board & tube rescues, CPR, first aid competency

Fitness Requirement: 400m swim in under 9 minutes

Description: Candidates learn the essential Patrolling skills, including Workplace safety, Surf awareness, Basic anatomy, Surf Rescues, Resuscitation and use of a Defibrilator, Emergency Care, Radio operation and communications, carries and supports and Basic Beach management.

FIRST AID #1

Course Date: 24/2/2026

Plus pre course online learning. Pre-requisite to ART. HeroHQ Facilitated.

FIRST AID #2

FIRST AID #2

Course Date: 17/3/2026

Plus pre course online learning. Pre-requisite to ART. HeroHQ Facilitated.

ART

Dates: TBA.

Description: Candidates are trained in the use of oxygen as therapy, airway management devices and automated external defibrillators. They are given the skills and knowledge necessary to respond to an emergency situation.

Candidates MUST hold the First Aid Certificate HLTAID011 to enrol and Must attend all sessions.
