GOTCHA4LIFE 24 HOUR ROW AT WANDA
ROWING THE DISTANCE FOR MENTAL FITNESS – 9 & 10 SEPTEMBER 2023

And that’s a wrap!

Well done Wanda Boat Section on another successful 24hr row.

Collectively we rowed a massive 744,757 metres with 56 rowers. We will raise over $2,000 for a great cause and contribute to the overall fundraising effort at Gotch4Life.

A big shout out to Rick Smith for all his work leading into the weekend getting Wanda in a position to excel.

Thanks Dave McGrath, Ron Smith, Henri Carrera, Nick McGrath, Cherie Carrera for set up, pack up and admin duties. The Junior girls for their salesperson-ship on the BBQ and the many other members that lent in across the weekend.

Our youngest rower was 9 and our oldest rower 77. And to all those in between – thanks for having a crack! It was great to see Paul Gallen return racing against his old mate Greg Pierce.
