2020 NSW VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR
Congratulations to John Douglas “JD”, who was named the 2020 NSW Volunteer of the Year for the Southern Sydney Region. JD was also named the Senior Volunteer of the Year.
JD is one of 2.1 million NSW citizens who selflessly volunteer their time to help others. He has trained hundreds of nippers and been the coach of the Rescue and Resuscitation operations. JD has also volunteered as a coach with Joeys JRLFC and basketball teams and with the local RFS. Congratulations and many thanks to those “givers” who enrich our daily lives.
