Induction: Tuesday August 22, 2023 6-7.30pm @ Wanda Club House
Swim Assessment: Saturday August 26, 2023 8-9am @ Gunnamatta Baths or North Cronulla
Theory and Land Based Skills: Tuesday August 29, 2023 and September 5, 12 and 19, 2023 6-7.30pm @ Wanda Club House
Water Skills: Saturday September 2, 9 and 16, 2023 from 8-9am @ Wanda
Assessment: Saturday September 23, 2023 from 9-11am @ Wanda Club House.
Presentation of Patrol and Water Safety Uniforms: September 23, 2022 from 12-2pm @ Wanda Club House.

FAQ’s
1. My child will not be 13 on the date of assessment? Your child can still attend the course and the trainer will identify another assessment date
2. Do I have to do the swim assessment? Yes, if you can’t attend, discuss this with your trainer.
3. Do I have to attend every session? Yes, if you intend to miss one or two sessions you will need to raise this with your trainer, however if you will miss the majority of the sessions, please note your child’s intention to return to nippers and that they would like to complete their SRC. The club will endeavour to find another course, however these are limited.
4. Do I have to patrol? Yes, if your child is wanting to compete in surf sports, they are expected to patrol for a specific number of hours, by a specific date. This will be communicated to you by the Senior Surf Sport Coaches.
5. Can I do U14 Nippers and not obtain my SRC? No, it is expected that each child who registers for U14’s obtains their SRC and participates in the U14 program as mentioned above.
6. Can I do my SRC, attend nippers on Sunday, patrol and not compete at carnivals? Yes
7. Does my child have to do Water Safety? Yes, the U14 Program is designed to apply the SRC skills in a controlled setting, preparing them for patrol as a life saver.
8. When will I get my patrol roster? Your child will be allocated their patrol and roster on completion of their SRC.
