DESCRIPTION:2025 TRADIES WANDA ONE CLUB CARNIVAL \nDATE: Saturday 25 October 2025\nVENUE: Wanda SLSC \nWanda SLSC is excited to host its 10th Annual Tradies One Club Carnival on Saturday\, 25 October 2025. \nIn an exciting development for its 10th year\, the Wanda One Carnival will again be a season opening 5000 point World Ocean Series (WOS – formally Summer of Surf) event that will attract a number of elite age group and open Iron men/women\, and specialist competitors to the Carnival. \nImportantly\, Wanda is including Surf Boats and March Past (in all divisions) in the suite of events being conducted\, all on the same day. These additional events round out the vision of the “one club” carnival concept that encompasses members from U8 to Masters\, plus events for R&R and inclusive competitors. \nThe day will start from 7:00am with Beach Runs and a 2km ski paddle at 7:00am. The Boats and the rest of the carnival will commence at 8:00am. Conditions permitting\, Wanda is also planning a short “finals session” commencing from 12 Noon featuring March Past\, Open Beach Sprint and Flags\, the U17 and Open Iron man/woman and culminating in the Mixed 6 Person Taplin Relay event. \nWanda is planning for the Carnival to be the best in the 10-year history of “One Club” concept and is hoping to exceed the record 1300+ competitor entries achieved in 2024. \nSome important matters to note: \n\nThe new SLSA Live Heats Carnival Entry System will be used for the first time. Entries for individual events are now open and entries for team events will open from 2 October 2025. Please follow your clubs instructions regarding entries. https://liveheats.com/Wanda\nFull details will be contained in the Entry Supplementary Circulars (including a separate circular for Surf Boats) to issue as soon as the Carnival is set up in Live Heats.\nWith introduction of LiveHeats a credit card payment is required at the time of entry.
