PATROLS
Reminder to all patrolling members that you must wear your Patrol uniform while on patrol as well as you patrol cap As well as the red wide brim hat or cap, these have been provided to all members. It is your responsibility to ensure that you bring your uniform to every patrol...
All members are to sign the patrol log before starting patrols and when they finish any members that signs the book for any other people who are not in attendance or members that sign on and are not doing their patrol will be asked to appear before the Board to explain.
Members are reminded that they must arrive for patrols at the time on the patrol roster and patrols are for the whole time allocated.

SUNDAY SURF RACES
All members are reminded that each Sunday morning at 11.00am we have our handicap surf races and all members should make the effort to come along each Sunday and take part in the races and have a catch up with your fellow club members, then come up stairs to the Founders room for an afternoon on relaxing at Wanda
Active patrolling members are reminded that you should be doing at least one swim per month.

GENERAL NOTICE
WE NEED YOU TO HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wanda SLSC will be hosting the Sydney Branch Open Carnival on Saturday 18th Feb and
also the Sydney Branch Age Carnival on Sunday 19th Feb.
This is a great opportunity for Wanda SLSC to join together and ensure that this
weekend is a huge success whilst also helping to raise funds for our Surf Club.
We are urgently looking for volunteers to assist our work party from 8.30am until
3.00pm on Saturday 18th Feb. Duties will include
Delivering Morning Teas and Lunches
Delivery of equipment as and when needed
General light duties
We also need volunteers who can assist with First Aid on the day - Members will
Need to hold a suitable award to assist with this duty.

CLUB WANDA
Lucky members draw happens at 5pm every Sunday night and you must be in attendance to claim the prize
We have a singer booked for Saturday 18th February from 3pm after the Branch Championships and all members are encouraged to come along and join in the celebrations of our members and have a nice relaxing afternoon at the Club.
RENOVATIONS
We have been lucky to get funding from the Department of Sports and recreation of $80,000.00 to allow us to renovate the toilets in Club Wanda and also improve storage and renovate the Kitchen area down stairs, so yes more renovations will be happening soon to improve the facilities for all members
BRANCH CHAMPIONSHIPS
Good luck to all competitors for the Branch Championships being held at Wanda beach on Saturday 18th February and Sunday 19th February starting at 7.30pm on Saturday and 8am on Sunday
WANDA WORLD TEAM & FUND RAISING
Just a reminder that help is needed on the BBQ on Sunday 19th February from 7am
Until approx 3pm. All funds raised from this BBQ will go towards the Worlds Touring
Team.

Previously we sent out an email asking for expressions of interest of members
Wishing to be considered as part of the Worlds Touring Team which will travel to
Adelaide in November 2012. It is expected that those people who expressed interest
to be considered should attend all Fundraising activities.
If you wish to be Considered please forward your name to Jason Clarke by Friday 2nd March. After this
date the Team will be selected and Members will be advised so accommodation can be
Organised ASAP.

SUTHERLAND 2 SURF
We are looking for people who are interested in being part of a
committee to plan and conduct the Sutherland to Surf to be
held in July. This is the biggest fund raiser for the club and
we have decided to get a committee together to look after this
